I was proud to contribute to this flyover animation during my time at Parsons Brinckerhoff. This shows the latest design for the overhaul of SR 520 as it approaches I-405, east of Seattle. As a member of a small team of 3D artists my focus was on the roadway, striping, adjacent landscape features, shrub placement and lid (overpass) modeling.

Swedish Gripen fighter jet. Using an existing model, I textured it, and lit and rendered this scene using Vray. Intent was to replace the existing fighter jet in the photo with a different pose and updated markings. For 3Plains.

Boeing 777-200. I modeled this aircraft from photos and line drawings, and rigged the landing gear to raise and lower using sliders in 3DS Max. I did not do the rendering or the livery textures.

For Boeing's computer-based pilot training, I posed, textured, lit and rendered many hypothetical scenarios including this wheel well fire. Used Maya.

Glock 23 semiautomatic handgun. High-poly modeling, texturing, animation and rendering done by me for 3Plains. Click image for animation of firing sequence.

This is a New York subway car made by Bombardier. I modeled, textured, lit and rendered it using Vray for 3Plains. Intent was for maximum photoreal detail, modeling only from publicly available reference photos. A fun challenge.

As a member of a small team, I shared in modeling and animation tasks for this courseware teaching steel stud construction principles. Notably, I was also selected to create the EXE courseware file and interface using Director.

In addition to the featured YouTube video at the top of this page, please see Parsons Brinckerhoff's Project Visualization website to look at the Seattle Alaskan Way Viaduct project to which I also contributed.

At Newlands & Co., I modeled curbs, sidewalks, sidewalk furniture and bus shelters for a flythrough DVD of new transit options for downtown Portland, OR.

I did similar roadway, shrub and building work for the visualization of the forthcoming PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center.
